Summer at the Birmingham Athletic Club is one of the best times of the year due in large part to the swimming pool. Open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the pool is in constant use with recreational swimming seven days a week. Two lap lanes are available at all times. A separate zero-entry pool for toddlers and younger swimmers, allow families to enjoy the summer days in a safe swim environment.
The BAC also offers a swim team and youth swim program that includes lessons and participation on BAC's inter-club swim team, The Sharks. The Sharks have been an integral part of the BAC's culture for years and continues to be a fantastic way for children and parents to create lifelong friendships.
